The Café is open during the day to provide members with coffee, tea, cold drinks and snacks, at very affordable prices.  One or two members staff the Café in hour-long shifts. 

Café experience teaches and enhances organizational and money handling skills as well as dependability and dealing with customers.

"Members in this unit learn entrepreneurial skills: accounting, dealing effectively with the public, making and serving meals, as well as organizational, numerical, and budgeting skills.  These skills can lead to jobs, either supported by Connections or permanent jobs in the community.  People in this unit learn how to work together and relate to one another, making and serving meals, just as you would working in the public."
