Maintenance takes care of the physical environment within  Connections main building, its community offices, as well as in support of members where they live in the community.  Members do cleaning, recycling , plant care, landscaping, snow shoveling, painting, and even repair services for electrical appliances and household furnishings. 

Occasionally, Maintenance coordinates large projects, building a large deck for members and, more recently, creating a more professional environment for members to work as respected and valued leaders.  

"This unit is involved with the Outreach and Housing Unit and working in people's homes.  Members' roles change from fixing things, to looking after plants, and the Clothes Closet provides members with used clothes that they otherwise might not be able to afford.  They also provide dishes, food, utensils, radios, books, and so on."
